Real-World Connection 19-29
I chose this picture because of the fact that the vignette in which Louie's cousin crashes the yellow Cadillac is simply the longest and most significant of the vignettes which I have permitted to employ this week. I have not seen a vignette which contains the qualities that I could use to find a picture that was connected with something other than the physical qualities of some scene or another. This is a picture of a generic car that could conceivably be yellow if it weren't filtered black and white. The car has crashed into a lamppost, but the person driving the car would be relatively unharmed after the crash judging from the state of the car's interior. All of these factors contribute to make the image very similar to the description of the yellow Cadillac Louie's male cousin crashed during the car chase on page twenty-five.
